Level I Certified Infrared Thermographer® - Open Enrolment is a four-day, 32 hour classroom course. The course material includes the application of qualitative thermal imaging for P/PM, Condition Assessment, Electrical Inspections, Condition Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Mechanical Inspections, Forensic Investigations, and Building Sciences.
Course topics include: overview of IR applications, heat transfer concepts, basic infrared theory, emittance, reflectance, transmittance, electrical systems inspections, setting up an IR program, rotating equipment inspections, active thermography, report generation, structural inspections, insulated roof inspections and more.
Applications include: electrical, mechanical, refractory, rotating equipment, building envelopes, flat roofs, and underground piping.
